IRD TARGETING BUILDERS
Attention All Those in the Construction Industry
We are aware that the IRD are currently investigating a number of builders who may have used their company resources to complete work on their personal homes.
This could include the use of employees and materials to complete improvements or build a new home.
If you are using your employees or material to complete private work, you must ensure that the company invoices you at normal market rates for services performed.
If you are concerned that this may apply to you, please contact us for advice.

INTERNET MARKETING TIP
"See Inside" With Google Maps Street View
In October this year, Google confirmed that half of all searches performed worldwide are now done on a mobile device.
Allowing online viewers to get a glimpse inside your business premises can work particularly well for shops, restaurants, bars or if you have something interesting to show.
As an example, if you go to www.google.co.nz and search a super cool keyword term such as “avatar christchurch”, you’ll see an image of the business from the outside and the inside with "See inside" as an option. You can then click on “See inside” which will take you into Google Maps Street view where you can walk people through selected parts of your premises.
It can add a nice customised approach that gives you the opportunity to virtually show people around and make a bit more of a connection.
P.S: Using Avatar's 'See Inside', can you find the blue aliens?
