“Before we undertake any accounting work for our clients, we lock in a price and lock in a delivery date to guarantee certainty and build trust.”
Jamie Tulloch, Managing Director
Traditional accounting is charged out in six minute intervals. Most accountants still bill their clients this way. This is an archaic way of offering value for a client. The longer a job takes, the more time gets added to the invoice. Where is the incentive or motivation for an accountant to become efficient and driven by positive outcomes for the client? We all know that if there are no time boundaries for any task that’s undertaken, then the work just keeps expanding – and at the client’s expense.
E3 Business Accountants turned the traditional accountants “labour for hire at six minute intervals” model on its head and has chosen to offer their clients certainty on price and certainty on delivery.
We believe this is the ethical way to form a hardworking and value driven relationship with our business clients. By investing more time at the start of a job and carefully managing the process in-house, we can guarantee our clients’ work will be completed by a certain time, on a certain date for a certain price.
There’s an old saying “work expands to fill the time available.”
At E3 we promise “you will be billed for what we do, not how long it takes.”
